When did Foresta Hakone Onsen open?

Foresta Hakone Onsen newly opened in Sengokuhara, Hakone on July 25, 2026. Our five-room inn offers stays with dinner, breakfast and private onsen.

Where is Foresta Hakone Onsen?

We are at 59-1 Sengokuhara, Hakone, Kanagawa 250-0631. The inn is about 25 minutes by car from Gotemba IC. The nearest bus stop is Sengoku, a 2-minute walk away and about 24 minutes from Hakone-Yumoto Station on Hakone Tozan Bus Line T.

Can we book the whole inn?

Yes. The entire inn is ¥150,000 per night without meals, a flat rate for up to 20 guests. Meals can be added for ¥10,000 per person. Whole-property stays are not handled by the booking form — please contact us on LINE or by phone at +81-90-7150-9163.

Can you prepare a cake for a birthday or anniversary?

We offer three chef-made birthday plates, all by advance reservation: Deluxe ¥7,500 (with a mini cake), Special ¥10,000 (with a 12cm whole cake) and Special Deluxe ¥12,000 (with an 18cm whole cake). Tell us your message on LINE when you book; otherwise the plate reads “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”.

Is parking available?

Free parking is available a short walk from the inn (not on the grounds themselves). The spot is easy to miss, so please tell us when you book if you are driving and we will send you a map.

Do you have private onsen baths?

Yes. We have two private baths with milky natural hot-spring water, each for up to four guests. Time-slot reservations are free, with repeat use available during your stay subject to availability.

What is the difference between Japanese and Western rooms?

The three Japanese-style rooms have a private toilet and washbasin. The two Western-style rooms use shared toilet and washbasin facilities in the inn.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Please contact us in advance if your arrival time changes significantly.

What meals are included?

Our standard stay includes dinner and breakfast. Dinner is a seasonal kaiseki centred on Kuroge wagyu sukiyaki, while breakfast features freshly baked bread. Guests in Japanese-style rooms may also choose to dine in their room.

What attractions are nearby?

The inn is a convenient base for the Sengokuhara pampas fields, Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands, Pola Museum of Art, Owakudani and Lake Ashi. See our access page for approximate travel times.
