When did Foresta Hakone Onsen open?
Foresta Hakone Onsen newly opened in Sengokuhara, Hakone on July 25, 2026. Our five-room inn offers stays with dinner, breakfast and private onsen.
Where is Foresta Hakone Onsen?
We are at 59-1 Sengokuhara, Hakone, Kanagawa 250-0631. The inn is about 25 minutes by car from Gotemba IC. The nearest stop is Sengoku, about a 2-minute walk away, served by Hakone Tozan Bus Line T from Odawara and Hakone-Yumoto.
Can we book the whole inn?
Yes. The entire inn is ¥125,000 per night without meals, a flat rate for up to 20 guests, including tax and the bathing tax. You can book the Whole-inn rental plan on our booking page on dates when all five rooms are free. Meals can be added for ¥10,000 per person — please arrange them with us on LINE or by phone at +81-90-7150-9163.
Can you prepare a cake for a birthday or anniversary?
We offer three chef-made birthday plates, all by advance reservation: Deluxe ¥7,500 (with a mini cake), Special ¥10,000 (with a 12cm whole cake) and Special Deluxe ¥12,000 (with an 18cm whole cake). Tell us your message on LINE when you book; otherwise the plate reads “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”.
Is parking available?
Free parking is available a short walk from the inn (not on the grounds themselves). The spot is easy to miss, so please tell us when you book if you are driving and we will send you a map.
Do you have private onsen baths?
Yes. We have two private baths with milky natural hot-spring water, each for up to four guests. They are free to use from 16:00 to 23:00 and from 06:00 to 09:00 the next morning. During these hours, use an available bath privately with your party as often as you like; no reservation is needed.
What is the difference between Japanese and Western rooms?
The three Japanese-style rooms have a private toilet and washbasin. The two Western-style rooms use shared toilet and washbasin facilities in the inn.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Please contact us in advance if your arrival time changes significantly.
What meals are included?
Dinner-and-breakfast plans include seasonal kaiseki centred on Kuroge wagyu sukiyaki and a Japanese-style breakfast served in the dining hall. Room-only plans are also available, so please check the meal conditions of your chosen plan. If you would like dinner in your room, please confirm availability with us before booking.
Can I check rates and availability on the official website?

What attractions are nearby?
The inn is a convenient base for the Sengokuhara pampas fields, Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands, Pola Museum of Art, Owakudani and Lake Ashi. See our access page for approximate travel times.
Can I visit without a car? Which bus stop is closest?
Yes. The inn is about a 2-minute walk from Sengoku bus stop. From Odawara Station, take Hakone Tozan Bus Line T toward Togendai from East Exit stop No. 4 and get off at Sengoku. Line T also serves Hakone-Yumoto Station. Sengoku and Sengoku-Kogen are different stops. Check Hakone Navi for current services and boarding points.
Can I leave luggage before check-in?
Check-in starts at 15:00. Luggage drop-off before then requires advance agreement with the inn. Please tell us your arrival date and approximate time so we can confirm whether we can receive it.
Do the guest rooms have private open-air onsen baths?
The guest rooms do not have open-air onsen baths. Our two hot-spring baths are shared facilities in the inn that you use privately with your party. Each accommodates up to four guests and is available during the stated bathing hours when unoccupied.
